Stage Coach Days in Arizona

We had the great opportunity to come visit my Dad in Florence, AZ for our spring break!  He bought the Stage Coach that my Uncle owned and gave tourists rides in Jackson Hole, WY for decades.  I even had the opportunity to drive it for a few weeks when my other Uncle, (who drove it for his summer job off of teaching) had some other business to take care of.  I was able to perform in the shoot out in Jackson as well that summer.  Such great times and memories.  I'm glad my Dad was able to keep the memories alive.  The harnesses on this team ("Dime & Dollar") belonged to my Grandfather.

Weekly Photos

The Weekly Photos really fell by the way side didn't they ....???  So, I'm just going to post some pictures I took this month on a snowmobile trip we went on.  I hope you enjoy them.  I really think that I'm getting a little better at taking pictures.  I also Color Calibrated my monitor using the Datacolor Spyder4Express S4X100 and WHOA you wouldn't believe the difference.  Maybe that's why I think my photos are better.  They are actually the true color.

If you would like to see the full orientation of the two square pictures you can view them at my Facebook Page.

I also made a Color Bar from one of the photos just for fun!  You can get the Action at Coffee Shop's Blog.

Week 13 - Ashton, ID

This Weekly Photo post is actually a scrapbook page of our Annual extended family trip to Ashton, ID.  I really liked this layout and the fun page that it was.  I got the Template free from Manda Girl.  I LOVE her templates.

Week 3 - Different Edits

Do you remember the post from last summer when Gary and I went to Kaycee, Wyoming?

Here are some more pictures that I was trying to practice my editing on. Let me know what you like or dislike about each one? I'd like to know.
This is SOOC (straight-out-of-camera).  I used my Canon PowerShot SX120 IS Point & Shoot Camera.
On this edit I adjusted the levels and boosted the contrast and colors a bit.
I just added some lightning to the boosted edit from above.  I thought it would be fun.  :)

I added a texture to this one which boosted the colors quite a bit.

Star Valley, WY

My dad said he built this 2x4 cabin.  I'm not sure exactly when and what it was used for because we got interrupted but I'm going to ask him again.  {grin}
